Another group of local veterans are making the trip to Washington D.C. this month.
Seventy-nine veterans of World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam War will take to the skies on September 13th.
Among the 10 local veterans are Eddie Ward of Alexander, Gailard Robertson of Arenzville, Gary Blum from Beardstown, Richard Hendricks of Carrollton, Donald Cox, Glenn Olinger, Wayne Parker and Micahel Willen of Jacksonville, Dana Stevens from Rushville and Larry Arnold from Concord.
Veterans will visit several monuments, tour the Arlington National Cemetery and explore the National Air and Space Museum.
