Three former students in the area will be joining the ranks of the Illinois State Police this week. The new troopers are part of a class of 6 recently graduated officers from the Illinois State Police Academy on October 25th. They will be serving in District 20 that serves Adams, Brown, Pike, Schuyler, and Scott Counties.
2014 Greenfield High School graduate Samuel Krotz, 2013 Jacksonville High School graduate Zeke Rowe, and 2010 Pittsfield High School graduate Brad Wassell have all been assigned as probationary patrol officers in the region. There assignments begin immediately.
