A Greene County man and Jerseyville woman were arrested last week in Calhoun County after a traffic stop along the Illinois River Road.
According to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, the stop was performed just before 8PM last Monday on the River Road near Deer Plain. Subsequent to an investigation, deputies arrested two passengers in the vehicle: 39-year old Erin L. Settles of Jerseyville for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia; and 27-year old Kevin J. Patton of Kane for possession of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance.
Both were arrested without incident and booked at the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office and later released with a notice to appear in court.
Both are set for a first appearance in Calhoun County Circuit Court for June 4th.
