Veterans in the State of Illinois are getting an opportunity to visit a dentist for free. With Veterans Day coming up next Monday, the Illinois State Dental Society has decided to offer dental care as a part of the Illinois Dentists Salute initiative to help veterans find proper and affordable dental care as a way of paying tribute to veterans’ service to the country. Through the Illinois Dentists Salute program, Illinois veterans are eligible to receive complimentary dental services at Springfield Dental Care located at 3820 Wabash Avenue in Springfield. The office is located just west of Freddy’s just off the Wabash Exit from Interstate 72. It is the only dentist office in West Central Illinois participating in the program.
