In a brief meeting last night, the City of Virginia Zoning Board of Appeals voted to grant a zoning change request to the Dollar General Corporation on property along Route 125 east.
The proposal now moves forward to the Virginia City Counsel for consideration at their next meeting on Thursday August 15th.
If approved by the city counsel, Dollar General will build a new 10,000 square foot store on the parcel of land that faces the highway.
