Pike County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Wisconsin man after a long chase through the county yesterday. 32-year-old Brandon J. Disrud of New Lisbon Wisconsin, was arrested for Aggravated Fleeing to Elude following an attempted traffic stop in Pittsfield. Following a pursuit and an attempt to locate, which lasted over an hour, Disrud was arrested in a bean field north of Valley City, west of County Highway 14 where his vehicle became disabled. According to Sheriff David Greenwood’s office, local citizens were integral in the capture and location of Disrud through reports of sightings about his location.
Disrud is also being held on an outstanding $15,000 arrest warrant out of Stephenson County Illinois and a Wisconsin No Bond Parole Hold for burglary. Disrud is being lodged at the Pike County Jail.
