South Jax Board Looks at Truck Wash Business

The South Jacksonville board will be asked to approve two grants, and the site plan for a new truck wash at the south edge of the village tonight.

The grants are $6-thousand to the Abraham Scouting Council 6th annual sporting clays and trap showdown, and $6-thousand and the use of the village billboard to Jacksonville Main Street.

The Truck wash would be locally owned, and located on the west side of Luv’s Truck Stop.

President Dick Samples will appoint three people as volunteer firefighters..Tyler Defrates, Marcus Jackson, and Stone Lambie.

The board will also look at the lease of a fire truck, and setting of registration and fees for certain village services. No action is expected. The board meets at 7 tonight at village hall.
