Routt Catholic High School has made its choice for head football coach.
Brett Gilbreth has been hired to replace Barry Creviston.
Creviston stepped down last month to pursue other positions within the public school system.
Gilbreth served as an assistant under Creviston last season.
He says he made a connection with the players and wants to help them both on and off the field.
Gilbreth says he’s going to try to make the tansition as seamless as possible.
Gilbreth played football at Routt, and felt coach matt Perkins made a huge impact on him.
Gilbreth will keep his job as Lake Jacksonville superintendent.
Routt last year was 1 and 9, after qualifying for the playoff two years ago.
