Jacksonville city officials are encouraging the public to help plan the city’s future.
Jacksonville community development director Brian Nyberg says he would like to hear from residents, business owners, property owners and community stockholders.
Nyberg says this survey will help determine Jacksonville’s comprehensive plan for the next 10 to 20 years.
He says this will direct the city’s planning in and around the city.
Nyberg says people can access the survey through Jacksonville’s website site.
The website is jacksonvilleil.gov.
Nyberg says all responses will be kept anonymous, and he hopes to finish this portion up by the end of the month, though it could be extended.
Nyberg has set December 31st this year as the target for finishing the comprehensive plan.
