Long time parishioners at Our Saviour Catholic Church were the top prize winners in the early bird drawing this morning for this year’s Dreams Drawing.
The ticket campaign benefits Routt Catholic High School and Our Saviour Grade School.
Chair and co chairs for this year’s campaign Becky McClelland and Karri Fox announced the winning tickets drawn by grade school students.
Ronald Balla of Jacksonville won $250. The $500 winner was Chad Winters of Jacksonville. Bobby Jo McKee of Winchester, the Thursday night girls, Robert Brune of Jacksonville, and Nelson Beck of Jacksonville won $1-thousand each. The $2-thousand winner was Theresa Hance of Jacksonville. And, Jake and Maggie Peterson of Jacksonville were the $10-thousand winners.
The drawing was held in the heat outside the church office after the 10:30 mass this morning on State Street.
McClelland says the money is pumped right back into the schools.
She says each school received $127-thousand each from the drawing a year ago. McClelland says the group sold over 600 tickets in the last couple of days, and just over 1-thousand tickets remain.
The final drawing for the $100-thousand ticket and others will be held Sunday, September 6th around 6 PM at the end of the Family Fun Festival. WLDS-WEAI will carry the drawing live that night.
