A flood warning is now in effect for residents along the Illinois River.
The National Weather Service says the flood warning started at 5 this morning.
The latest report indicates the flood stage Thursday night was a 12 feet, and is expected to rise above flood stage early Sunday morning.
Flood stage is 14 feet, and is expected to rise to 16-point-7 feet today.
At 18 feet, the warning says seepage problems can develop in the Lost Creek Drainage and Levee District.
Currently, only minor flooding is expected.
