Crash at I-72 Eastbound at South Jacksonville Exit
The Illinois State Police and emergency crews are on the scene of a rollover of a Semi Tractor Trailer on I-72 Eastbound at mile post 64 (South Jacksonville exit). All eastbound traffic is currently shut down at this time. Traffic is being diverted onto Illinois Route 267. Motorists are urged to slow down in approaching the area or find another route of travel. State Police say that eastbound I-72 is expected to be closed for a few hours.
Cropmate Road Closed for Bridge Repair 10/31-11/2
Scott County Road District #7 will be closing Cropmate Road for bridge repair starting Monday, Oct. 31st thru Wednesday, Nov. 2nd Cropmate Road will be closed to thru traffic starting at Neelyville Blacktop Road and ending at Roth Lane.
Joe Page Bridge into Hardin One Lane Oct. 24-27
The bridge that carries Illinois Route 100 from Greene County into Hardin in Calhoun County will be reduced to one lane from 8 AM – 8:30 PM on Monday, Oct. 24th through Thursday, Oct. 27th for routine bridge inspection by IDOT. Motorists can expect delays.
Florence Bridge Open
Repairs have been made to the bridge gate and the Florence Bridge has returned to normal traffic.
Florence Bridge Closed
IL State Police say a vehicle has hit the bridge gate at the Florence Bridge on Illinois Route 106 in Pike County today (September 26th at 2:15PM).
The bridge is temporarily closed. It is unknown at this time how long the bridge will be closed.
Scott County Road Closures
Starting Tuesday, August 30th, the Winchester/Glasgow Road will be closed to thru traffic for three weeks starting at Illinois Route 106/Cherry Street and ending at VanMeter Lane.
Starting Wednesday, August 31st, Hoots Road will be closed to thru traffic for three weeks starting at Illinois Route 106 and ending at Bloomfield Road.
Old U.S. 36/Il. Rte 106 from I 72 to Church Farm Road closed to all traffic.
Old U.S. 36/Illinois Route 106 from Interstate 72 to Church Farm Road near Riggston is closed to all traffic. The scope of the work will be a box culvert replacement. The road closure is expected to last until September 8th. IDOT says the time-frame is subject to change.
Triopia Road Closed Tuesday and Wednesday
Morgan county Highway Department announced that Triopia Road will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday for culvert replacement. Motorists are asked to seek alternate routes during construction.
I 72 Between Wabash Avenue and Veterans Parkway Open in Both Directions.
I 72 Between Wabash Avenue and Veterans Parkway is now open in both directions however, it is reduced to one lane each way. Drivers are reminded to use caution in construction areas.
