A Jacksonville man arrested last year in a child pornography investigation by the Illinois Attorney General’s Office has been sentenced in Morgan County Court.

29-year-old Austin Castleberry entered a negotiated guilty plea last Tuesday in Morgan County court to one count of possession of child pornography.

Castleberry was sentenced to four years of probation, and fined $1,000. Court records show a Schedule 4 assessment was waived, and Castleberry must complete recommendations outlined in an offender addendum. A confidential psychosexual evaluation report was also filed with the court.

As part of the agreement, three additional counts of possession of child pornography were dismissed.

Castleberry was arrested in May 2025 following an investigation by Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul’s Office. At the time, he was charged with one count of child pornography and three counts of possession of child pornography by the Morgan County State’s Attorney’s Office.
