A suspicious device turned out to be a component on the railroad tracks at the North Westgate overpass about 3:30 this afternoon.
Jacksonville police responded after it was originally called in a suspicious device on the tracks.
The area was temporarily shut down, and evacuated until railroad officials were called.
It was opened immediately after the area was deemed safe.
