An accident last week in Springfield claimed a second victim over the weekend from Greene County.
69-year-old Donna Northcutt of Roodhouse died shortly after the accident, and was declared dead in the emergency room at a Springfield hospital
Her husband, 71-year-old Gary Don Northcutt of Roodhouse died from injuries in the accident two days later in Springfield.
Sangamon County coroner Jim Allmon says the two were in a vehicle that collided with a second vehicle at South 7th and East Laurel Drive in Springfield last Thursday.
No other details about the accident have been released by the Sangamon County coroner’s office.
A celebration of life for the couple is planned for 1 PM Sunday at the Roodhouse Res Pavilion.
