Strong winds pushed over a semi and trailer on its side on East Morton about 6:30 last night.
The incident occurred at Mobile Road and East Morton. It involved a semi owned by Hub Group Trucking from Indianapolis.
City police say the driver was identified as 52-year-old Major Beckton of Florissant, Missouri.
Police say he was westbound when the winds caused the truck to overturn on the passenger side.
Police say Beckton was taken to Jacksonville Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The truck was towed from the scene.
