The South Jacksonville board will be asked to buy a ladder truck for the fire department tonight.
The board will consider the purchase for $200-thousand. It is the 2002 Pierce 100 foot ladder truck declared surplus by the Jacksonville city council Monday night.
The city recently took delivery of a new aerial fire truck, that should be in service within a month.
The board will be asked to approve salary increases for all non union village workers, retroactive to May 1st.
Trustees will be asked to approve a $30-thousand tourism grant to the Morgan County Fair.
The board will talk about the village parks, and items for the police and fire departments. But no action will be taken.
The meeting begins at 7 PM at Village Hall.
