Much of tonight’s South Jacksonville trustee meeting is listed under the mayor’s report.
The report indicates updates from the police and fire departments.
The fire department has been seeking an increase in the rural fire protection fees. The department also hopes to complete the purchase of the surplus Jacksonville fire department ladder truck. Jacksonville fire chief Matt Summers says the price is $200-thousand.
There will also be updates from code compliance and public works.
