The tanks are back at the Morgan County Fair. But, this may be it for fairgoers.
The tanks and other surprises will be brought in by Rabbi Rob Thomas for Wednesday, July 8th.
Thomas says the equipment can be viewed Wednesday after 12 noon. The show begins a little later, about 8PM.
Rabbi Rob says he is in the process of closing down the public viewing of the equipment.
He says it’s time to focus on family, and local projects, including downtown.
Thomas says he eventually plans to bring the wheeled vehicles to Jacksonville for storage, and an occasional appearance at parades. He says some of those vehicles will be seen in next weekend’s Rotary 4th of July parade.
Thomas loves the fact that he can show off the tanks and other vehicles on this nation’s 250th birthday.
Thomas admits he’s, quote, “taking it up a level” this year. He’s being closed mouth about what new additions might be on the 8th.
Thomas and his wife Lauren are parade marshals for this year’s Rotary 4th of July parade.
